Service description and acceptable use

Blocks provides AI-powered coding assistance through containerized execution environments. You retain full ownership of your code and intellectual property. We provide a limited license to process your code solely to deliver requested services.

You must own or have authorization to submit any code to our service. You are prohibited from submitting confidential, proprietary, or legally restricted code without proper authorization. You may not use our service to generate malicious code, violate third-party rights, or circumvent security measures.

You may not attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of Blocks systems or networks, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to Blocks infrastructure. Any such attempts may result in immediate suspension and may be reported to law enforcement authorities.

You agree not to attempt to extract Blocks' internal prompts, configurations, or proprietary system logic, or to attempt to bypass sandbox restrictions.

AI-generated content and limitations

Our AI systems provide suggestions and code that require human review and validation. We provide no warranties regarding the accuracy, security, or fitness for purpose of AI-generated content. You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating all AI outputs before use.

AI-generated content may inadvertently resemble existing code or contain errors, security vulnerabilities, or legal compliance issues. You acknowledge full responsibility for all code you use or deploy, regardless of AI assistance.

Blocks disclaims responsibility for any damages, losses, or service interruptions resulting from the use or deployment of AI-generated code, including but not limited to data deletion, corruption, or system compromise. You acknowledge that all AI-generated outputs must be reviewed, tested, and validated in safe environments prior to production use.

Data usage rights and restrictions

We process your submitted code temporarily to provide services. We do not claim ownership of your code and do not use private repository content for AI model training. Public repository content may be used for service improvement and model training consistent with your repository's public licensing.

We reserve the right to use aggregated, anonymized usage statistics to improve our service performance and capabilities.

Service availability and limitations

Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee continuous service availability, response time performance, or AI output quality. Service interruptions may occur for maintenance, security updates, or technical issues.

Usage limits apply based on your subscription tier. Excessive usage may result in service throttling or account suspension.

Limitation of liability and indemnification

Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding any claim, with a maximum of $1,000 for free accounts. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential, special, or punitive damages under any legal theory.

Without limiting the foregoing, Blocks will not be liable for any damages resulting from: (a) unauthorized access to or use of your account; (b) security breaches or vulnerabilities in your code, repositories, or connected services; (c) errors, omissions, or failures in AI-generated outputs; or (d) user failure to maintain appropriate backups of code and data.

You indemnify us against claims arising from your use of AI-generated content, code submissions, or violation of these terms. This includes intellectual property claims, regulatory violations, or damages from deployed code.

Account termination and data deletion

We may suspend or terminate accounts for terms violations, security threats, or legal compliance requirements. Upon termination, all your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days unless legal retention requirements apply.

You may terminate your account at any time through your dashboard, triggering immediate data deletion processes.

Dispute resolution and governing law

These terms are governed by Delaware law. Disputes must be resolved through binding arbitration rather than court litigation, except for intellectual property claims or injunctive relief requests.

For users in the European Union, mandatory consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction may provide additional rights not limited by these terms.

Service modifications and notifications

We reserve the right to modify these terms with 30 days advance notice for material changes. Continued service use after notification constitutes acceptance of modified terms.

Service features may be added, modified, or discontinued with reasonable notice to affected users.
